Al-Araji Chairs the National Intelligence Council Meeting

National security adviser Qassim Al-Araji said on, Sunday, that what is happening in Gaza is a violation of all human values and human rights principles.
 
Media Office of the National Security Adviser said in statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that " The National Intelligence Council held its meeting chaired by Al-Araji and in the presence of council members and supporting parties”, pointing out that "the council discussed the topics on the agenda and took the necessary decisions and recommendations on them”.
 
The statement added that "Al-Araji opened the session by stressing that what is happening in Gaza is a violation of all human values and human rights principles”, stressing that "Iraq's position is to emphasize the need to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip and allow humanitarian aid to enter the Strip”.
 
 
According to the statement Al-Araji said that "The security services need to make efforts to obtain information and maintain security, stressing the importance of vigilance, caution and exceptional work, because ISIS terrorist gangs are trying to exploit any loophole to carry out terrorist acts".
 
"The council discussed the measures to be taken by the intelligence community at this crucial stage and the need to follow up on all international, regional and local details to maintain the security of the country", the statement said.
 
The statement added that "the council discussed the achievements of the Joint Intelligence Center, as well as the future vision of the center's work”.
