DMI Arrests a Terrorist in Al- Anbar

The Directorate of Military Intelligence DMI announced, on Sunday, the arrest of a terrorist in Al- Anbar.

DMI said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "with a qualitative operation and a distinguished intelligence effort, and according to accurate intelligence information of the division of the 10th Division of military intelligence and in cooperation with intelligence and a force from the 39th brigade and a force from the 7th brigade of the Popular Mobilization, a tight ambush was set up near the control of the Japanese bridge, resulted in the  arrest of one of the terrorist elements affiliated with ISIS gangs, who was working with what called (Intelligence Bureau / Anbar province ) as well as participated in the murder of members of the security forces in 2014 in Al- Halabsa area and the bombing of AL-karma police station ".

"He was duly handed over to the applicant after completing the necessary procedures against him ", the statement added.
