Al-Sudani receives representatives of the families of the victims of the tragic fire accident at the Al-Naqa Center in the city of Nasiriyah.

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani directed on Thursday, Al-Sudani to expedite the resolution of the benefits of compensation for the families of the victims of the Al-Naqa Center accident in Dhi Qar.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received representatives of the families of the victims of the tragic fire accident at the Al-Naqa Center in the city of Nasiriyah, in the presence of the Governor of Dhi Qar,” pointing out that “ During the meeting, Al-Sudani listened to the complaints of the victims’ families and their demands to facilitate administrative procedures related to their rights."

The Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities, according to the statement, to “expedite the resolution and resolution of all issues related to compensation for the families of the victims, including taking legal measures to count their deceased relatives as a result of the painful accident as martyrs, just like their peers who died in similar events,” stressing that “The government has taken it upon itself to provide care to all citizens and their families, especially those who have been exposed to accidents that caused their death or injury, and will not accept any negligence in this aspect."
