The President of the Islamic Supreme Council (ISC), Sheikh Hammam Hamoudi, and the National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji, discussed on Monday, supporting the government effort and the repercussions of the “Al-Aqsa Flood.”
The media office of the President of the Supreme Council stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “The President of the Islamic Supreme Council, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, received today the National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji, and they discussed developments in the national arena and the repercussions of the Al-Aqsa Flood operations and their impact on the heart of the conflict equations,” indicating "The meeting reviewed the overall political and security situation in the country."
The statement added, "The two parties stressed the importance of working to support the government's efforts and support its program, in a way that achieves the interests of citizens and advances the state, they also indicated the necessity of concerted efforts of all political forces to make the government's work successful in its approach to reform and improving the country's reality."
"The two sides praised the heroism of the Palestinian people and the qualitative victories they achieved," pointing out "the importance of maintaining the momentum of moral support, to put an end to Zionist crime."
