SCEEI confirms readiness to equip Ministry of Electricity with required quantities of transformers

State Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries SCEEI, one of the formations of the Ministry of Industry, announced its readiness to equip the Ministry of Electricity with the required quantities of electrical transformers, while it confirmed that the capacity of its production laboratories reaches the production of 6000 transformers annually, which can be increased, indicating that there are many requests for cooling devices from state departments and that its devices compete with their imported counterparts, indicating that the local industry has won the confidence of the Iraqi consumer and that the country is going through a major industrial revolution.
 
Electric Transformers
 
The general director of SCEEI, Sufyan al-Jubouri, said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and Minister of Industry Khaled Batal directed the energy support and the support of the Ministry of electricity in the field of Electric Transformers," indicating that "the company has an integrated laboratory and its production capacity reaches 6000 Transformers per year, subject to increase," pointing out that the company is waiting for the plans of the Ministry of electricity in order to equip them with Transformers.
 
 
Cooling devices

Talking about cooling devices, Al-Jubouri added that "these products are divided into packages, the first part central cooling system from 5 tons to 90 tons and there is now a great demand for these devices from government agencies and companies and these devices are a hundred percent local industry except for their own compressor, which is imported," stressing that the product specifications are very high and there are laboratories specialized in this aspect, and the second part, which includes smaller cooling devices such as (Split-System Air Conditioners) and this industry competes Imported similar devices", indicating that all cooling devices are subject to tests and to the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control.
 

Solar Cells
 
The general director of  SCEEI, Sufian Al-Jubouri, explained during the interview that "the solar cell industry is continuous and important, and we as a company can cover the requests and fill the shortage, indicating that the prices of these panels are very appropriate and compete with the imported in all matters, including prices, because these devices do not need import expenses such as (tax, customs and transportation) and all the manufacturing processes of these cells from assembly, design, implementation and mechanical work are done locally within the company, except for batteries that are imported from international origins."
 

 
Industrial revolution
 
 Al-Jubouri stressed that "the citizen now has confidence in the Iraqi industry and that period is an industrial revolution in the country, indicating that after the directives of the Prime Minister, there has become a great development in the manufacture of devices and products and the marketing movement of those products and there is great support from the government for the industry in general, but the problem lies in cash liquidity and payment by the beneficiary government sides.


 
The rise in the dollar exchange rate
 
 Regarding the rise in the dollar exchange rate in the markets, Sufian Al-Jubouri said that "this rise affected a certain aspect of the company's products, and despite the rise, we controlled prices in order to support the local product and competed during that period with local markets in terms of specification and price.


 
Marketing plans
 
 He continued that "the company has developed marketing plans and in addition to correspondence to the ministries, there has been introductory seminars to ministries and companies about the company's products, and a delegation was also sent from the company to explain the products of the electrical and electronic industries and the work of its factories as well as sending invitations to other companies. He pointed out that the company has also opened exhibitions at the entrance to the company as well as within the company also opened an exhibition for direct sale in the province of Babylon and the province of Diyala to market its products and work is underway to open an exhibition in the province of Kirkuk in cooperation with the General Company for Leather Industries.


Production lines
 
With regard to production lines, Al-Jubouri said that "the company rehabilitated some factories and production lines, as well as qualified expired machines, as is the case in the heater factory, as well as the plant for the construction of the air compressor, which was previously imported, as well as the oxygen plant and the cables," stressing the continuation of work in the development and rehabilitation of old plants.
