Al-Amiri receives the Minister of Defense

During his meeting with Defense Minister Thabet Al-Abbasi, Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, stressed the importance of caring for the Iraqi soldier.

A statement from Al-Amiri’s office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “The Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, received in his office in Baghdad the Minister of Defense, Thabet Al-Abbasi, and the two sides reviewed developments in the security and military files in the country, and discussed ways to support the military system and diversify the armament of the army from developed countries in the country this field is in addition to increasing work to develop his ability and efficiency to enable him to carry out tasks and duties at the highest levels."

According to the statement, Al-Amiri noted the interest in the Iraqi soldier from all aspects and the continued fight against corruption and the adoption of solid administrative foundations to ensure progress in the ministry’s work, pointing out the importance of maintaining the security and military momentum and continuing to develop effective plans to support border security, establish security and stability, and preserve national sovereignty."
