A draw leads Iraq to AFC U23 Asian Cup finals

Iraqi Olympic team and Kuwaiti counterpart match resulted in a draw with two goals each, taking on the top spot in Group 6 and qualify for the finals of the AFC U23 Asian Cup teams, in the match that took place at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, Kuwait.

Iraq's goals were scored by Thulfiqar Younis Abd Ali in the 69th minute, then Mustafa Saadoun in the 70th minute, while the Kuwaiti team's goals came from Salman Muhammed in the 48th minute and Bandar Al-Mutairi in the 64th minute.

With this result, Iraqi team topped the group with 7 points from two wins and a draw, followed by its Kuwaiti counterpart with 7 points with a smaller number of goals.
