The Nineveh Criminal Court issued on Monday, a death sentence against a terrorist who participated in operations against the security forces.
The judiciary stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The terrorist planted explosive devices and detonated them on convoys of security forces in the Al-Baaj district of Nineveh Governorate, in addition to being appointed to several positions during his period of work with ISIS gangs, as well as participating with the gangs in entering the city Mosul."
The statement added, "The terrorist was also appointed as an official in the tribal office, then he became a leader in operations and participated in them against the security forces, carrying weapons and wearing the special uniform of these criminal gangs."
It continued, "The judge against him comes in accordance with the provisions of Article Four/1 and in terms of Article Two/1, 3, 5, and 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005."
