Hussein arrived in the Arab Republic of Egypt to attend the meetings of the liaison committee formed by the Arab League, which will be held tomorrow's Tuesday with the participation of the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, the Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Foreign Minister of Arab Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, and the Lebanese Foreign Minister, Abdullah Bou Habib, said the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
"The meeting comes to assess the Syrian situation and since the first Amman meeting, as well as to study international interactions in this regard," added Al-Sahhaf.
The statement included, "Members of the Communication Committee will meet with Faisal Mekdad, the Syrian Foreign Minister, to discuss and follow up on the decisions taken in previous meetings, and to study developments on the Syrian scene."
