A security delegation headed by Interior Minister follows up security plans in 5 governorates

    The Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday the arrival of a high-level security delegation headed by Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari to Dhi Qar governorate as part of a visit that includes five governorates to follow up the procedures for securing the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
     
    The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the delegation included the chairman of the Supreme Committee to secure the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari, the commander of the ground forces, the undersecretary of the National Security Service, police and intelligence agents in the ministry, the assistant of the Popular Mobilization operations, in addition to the leaders of the Basra operations, Maysan and Sumer, the provincial police commanders and the directors of the security services.
     
    "Details of security plans have been reviewed in five governorates, including Dhi Qar," the statement added.
