Al-Sudani: There is no decision on the cession of Iraqi lands

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani said on Sunday that there was no decision on the cession of Iraqi lands, while calling on citizens to cooperate with the government to reduce encroachments on water networks.
 
The Prime Minister spoke with citizens directly through a TV Program, which is shown on Iraqi News Channel, that "talking about the cession of Iraqi lands aims to obscure public opinion, falsification and distortion of facts," pointing out that "after 2003, no decision was made about the cession of Iraqi lands, not by this government or previous governments.

On the scarcity of water, the Prime Minister stressed that "this summer is the most difficult that passes over Iraq," calling on "citizens to cooperate with the government to reduce abuses on water networks.
