Prime Minister, Mohamed Shia’ Al-Sudani, and the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, renewed today, Monday, their condemnation of the repeated attack on the sanctity of the Noble Qur’an in Sweden.
The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, received the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid," pointing out that, "During the meeting, they discussed the general situation in the country, and the importance of integration in work between all authorities, in order to support the government's steps in implementing the plans of the government program, especially the priorities related to improving services and raising the standard of living, in order to achieve comprehensive development in all vital sectors.
According to the statement "Prime Minister and the President of the Republic renewed their condemnation of the repeated attack on the sanctity of the Holy Qur'an and Islamic sanctities by a deviant person, and stressed the need for countries to take a more firm stance, which would be sufficient to end these criminal acts."
