First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi stressed today, Sunday, the need to exchange experiences and activate the role of friendship committees with Jordan.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi received, today, at Baghdad International Airport, the delegation of the Jordanian Parliament headed by the first deputy speaker of the parliament, Ahmed Al-Khalayleh, which includes A number of deputies, advisors, and the Jordanian ambassador to Iraq, Montaser Al-Zoghbi, in the presence of Representatives Dylan Ghafour and Dawood Al-Aidan.
Al-Mandalawi welcomed Khalayleh and the parliamentary delegation accompanying him, stressing "the depth of the relationship that binds the two brotherly peoples, and the importance of investing this visit to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, and the exchange of experiences at the legislative level, as well as activating the role of friendship committees and issues of common interest."
