TBI warns against dealing with parties claiming to provide humanitarian assistance abroad

The Trade Bank of Iraq TBI warned on Thursday against dealing with parties claiming to provide humanitarian assistance outside Iraq.

"We warn against dealing with unknown parties claiming to provide humanitarian assistance outside Iraq and asking those with whom you communicate to open accounts via electronic wallets on the pretext that these accounts are opened through the Central Bank of Iraq or through one of the Iraqi banks,"said the bank's media expert Aqil al-shwaili in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

He added that" this claim is untrue and is aimed at fraud to obtain funds, "calling on customers to"the need to be careful and careful of such transactions and maintain the integrity of your financial transactions by not dealing with any unreliable entity.
