Presidents of the Republic and the House of Representatives discuss developments in the political, security and economic situation

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, discussed today, Tuesday, with Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi developments in the political, security and economic conditions on the local and regional arenas.
 
 
 The Presidency of the Republic stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Republic received the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and during the meeting, they discussed developments in the political, security and economic conditions on the Iraqi and regional arenas, emphasizing the upgrading of services provided to citizens, and the implementation of infrastructure projects, especially after the approval of General Budget Law.
The statement added, "The meeting included studying coordination mechanisms between the Presidency of the Republic and the House of Representatives in presenting and approving legislation that affects the lives of citizens, in addition to preparations for holding provincial elections on time, and ensuring their integrity and transparency."
