The Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, announced on Sunday, the opening of the dialysis center in Yarmouk Hospital.
Al-Hasnawi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The dialysis center (dialysis) was opened in Yarmouk Hospital, consisting of 56 beds, in addition to the current center consisting of 30 beds, bringing the total number of beds to 86 beds, providing complete dialysis services that include dialysis and diagnosis laboratory and other diagnostics."
He added, "This is part of the centers that will open tomorrow to increase the number of beds for dialysis patients in the Karkh region, and on the sidelines of it, we opened the special women's wing in Yarmouk Hospital, which consists of 14 single rooms, in addition to an operating room, two delivery rooms according to the stages, and a special room for newborn care Birth."
Al-Hasnawi noted, "Al-Yarmouk Hospital, despite its age and age exceeds 50 years, provides great services to our Iraqi people."
