The head of the Iraqi Media Network and Chairman of the permanent Committee for Arab Media, Dr. Nabil Jassim, discussed today, Tuesday, with Kuwaiti Undersecretary of Information Minister Nasser Al-Muhaisen, means of media cooperation and coordination between Iraqi Media network and the ministry, and the signing of a bilateral memorandum of understanding covering many fields.
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated, "Dr. Nabil Jassim met Al-Muhaisen on the sidelines of the 53rd session of the Arab Information Ministers Council held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat."
During the meeting, the head of the network reviewed the development in the Iraqi media discourse and the institutions that fall within the structure of the Iraqi media network, stressing the Iraqi government's keenness to strengthen relations between the Arab brothers, foremost among them is the state of Kuwait.
The two sides discussed the imminent signing of a memorandum of media cooperation, covering many areas to serve common interests.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information said, "Iraq is a brotherly and neighboring country, and we are keen on comprehensive media cooperation in a way that contributes to opening the broadest prospects."
He added, "News and program exchange, archive exchange and dramatic works will be present and at the forefront of cooperation priorities."
