PM's Office announces approving a series of investment opportunities for new residential cities

    The Prime Minister's Office announced on Thursday, the approval of a series of investment opportunities for new residential cities.
     
    PM office said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that" , Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani chaired the first meeting of the Higher Commission for Investment and Construction. The Commission approved a series of investment opportunities for new residential cities, including the following projects:
     
    The Higher Commission for Investment and Construction approved investment opportunities for new residential cities in the Baghdad Governorate/ Abu Ghraib (Al-Jawahiri), Karbala Governorate (Dhifaf Karbala), Anbar Governorate (New Fallujah City), Babil Governorate (New Al-Janain City), and Nineveh Governorate (New Al-Ghazlani City).
     
     The statement added,"The meeting centered on launching new residential city projects and delineating the essential steps. These projects constitute an open investment plan, which received approval in accordance with Cabinet Resolution 23121, which created the commission for the development of new cities".
     
    During the meeting, Al-Sudani emphasized that the investment projects are designed to align with the government program's priorities and effectively address the housing crisis. These endeavors are guided by a distinct investment and economic vision.
     
    The meeting underscored the Commission's role in monitoring and improving the investment environment to maximize opportunities and improve legislation. Mr. Al-Sudani directed the attention towards the industrial and agricultural sectors and other economic sectors that generate job opportunities, expand development avenues, and strengthen the national economy.
