JOC: The fifth phase of Operation Swords of Truth launched

The Security Media Cell-SMC announced on Saturday, the launch of the fifth phase of Operation "Swords of Truth" in areas of common security interest.
 
SMC said in statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that, "According to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, the fifth phase of the Swords of Truth operations was launched, based on intelligence information in Diyala, Tuz Khurmato and Kirkuk to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs in the regions." of common security concern between the center and Kurdistan region”.
 
The statement added, “The army forces, the Peshmerga, and the Popular Mobilization Forces participated in the operation with the support of the Air Force, Army Aviation, and technical detachments from the Directorate of Military Intelligence and other service detachments.”
