The head of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), Faiq Zidan, arrived on Wednesday, in Morocco.
SJC said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the SJC, Faiq Zaidan, arrived today Wednesday in the Kingdom of Morocco at the head of a high-level judicial delegation."
The statement added, "The visit came at the official invitation of his counterpart, the delegated president of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Authority in Morocco, Muhammad Abd al-Nabawi," noting that "the delegation included the President of the Basra Appeal, Adel Abdel-Razzaq, the President of the Nineveh Appeal, Judge Raed Hamid, the President of the Najaf Appeal, Judge Hassan Sodi, and the Deputy Prosecutor. General Nawar Obeid and Director General of the Department of Judges and Prosecutors Affairs, Lubna Moheb."
It stressed that "the Secretary-General of the Moroccan Judiciary, a number of judges, and The Chargé D'Affairs of the Iraqi Embassy in Rabat, Dr. Bhutan Dizayee, were receiving the delegation in Rabat."
