The Egyptian President welcomes the return of Syria to the Arab League

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi welcomed Syria's return to the Arab League.

"We welcome Syria's return to the Arab League and participation in the Arab summit," Al-Sisi said during his speech at the Arab summit in Jeddah, stressing "the importance of activating the concept of joint Arab action.".

He added, "It is important to preserve the national state and its institutions, and the concept of joint Arab action must be activated, which is important for preserving the national state and its institutions," stressing that "Arab national security is an indivisible whole."

He affirmed "adherence to the Arab peace initiative and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state," noting that he "will support all efforts to activate Arab cooperation to take into account our interests."
