The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA at the Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday the arrest of four ISIS terrorists in Diyala.
A statement by FIIA received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the intelligence and federal investigation detachments in the Ministry of Interior continue to pressure the areas against which intelligence reports have indicated that there may be terrorist hideouts supporting them, taking advantage of their geographical nature, and through the continuation of accurate intelligence operations, the presence of a terrorist network that provides support to ISIS terrorist elements in Diyala province and provides them with food, money and other supplies, was found."
"After a tight ambush and continuous follow-up and monitoring, four accused members of ISIS terrorist gangs who were providing support to hideouts were arrested," the statement said, noting that "their plans and movements that posed a security threat to the province were aborted, and they were investigated under the supervision of the judiciary."
