Hanging Gardens Wins Best Feature Film Award at MAFF 13th

The film "Hanging Gardens" by Iraqi director Ahmed Yassin Al-Daradji won the award for Best Feature Film at the 13th edition of the Malmö Arab Film Festival MAFF in Sweden.

The film also received the Best Screenplay Award, and its protagonist, Hussein Mohammed Jalil, won the Best Actor award.

Founded in 2011, the Malmö Festival is the largest window for Arab cinema in Scandinavia, and annually hosts a group of filmmakers and stars.
