IMN celebrates its 67th anniversary

    The Iraqi Media Network-IMN received on Tuesday, congratulations on the 67th anniversary of its founding.
    “We congratulate the Iraqi Media Network and its cadres on the occasion of the sixty-seventh anniversary of the broadcasting of the Republic of Iraq TV, which is one of the first Arab televisions to broadcast to viewers in the early sixties of the last century, and we hope that all our media institutions keep pace with their counterparts in the world, and that they work to develop their programs, especially those that concern the family, society and youth”, said Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim.
     
     
    We congratulate the staff of the Iraqi Media Network on this occasion, and we wish for them more success so that they carry the true message that we wish from the media, which is represented in broadcasting honest, purposeful and informed media that seeks to consolidate the love of national belonging and enhance the authentic values of the Iraqi citizen and keep pace with the movement of development and progress in the world and be the mirror in the transmission the truth".
     
    The Minister of Defense, Thabet Al-Abbasi, confirmed in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We congratulate the Iraqi Media Network and its cadres on the occasion of the sixty-seventh anniversary of the launch of the broadcast of the Republic of Iraq TV, which is one of the first Arab televisions to broadcast to viewers in the early sixties of the last century."
     
    Al-Abbasi added, "The TV played a major role in educating, raising awareness, and presenting educational, literary and dramatic works, which greatly contributed to bringing about fundamental and radical changes in Iraqi society, and advancing science and development in Iraq, which made it ahead of most countries in the region."
     
    He continued: "We congratulate the staff of the Iraqi Media Network on this occasion, and we wish them more success so that they carry the true message that we wish for the media, which is represented in broadcasting honest, meaningful and that seeks to consolidate national belonging and promotes the authentic values of the Iraqi citizen and keeps pace with the movement of development and progress in the world and be mirror to reflect the truth.”
