Arresting (4) wanted persons in three governorates

The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security arrested today, Sunday, (4) wanted persons for the judiciary in several governorates.
 
 
The Security Media Cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that it "arrested (4) wanted persons on charges of terrorism, drug trade and electronic extortion in separate governorates."
 
 According to the statement "the detachments of Maysan Intelligence and Security Directorate affiliated to the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security at the Ministry of Defense managed to arrest one of those wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article (1/4) terrorism, through his presence in the Al-Kahla district of Maysan Governorate.
The Security Media Cell added that "the detachments of Diwaniyah Intelligence and Security Directorate affiliated to the same directorate, and in coordination with the Narcotics department, were able to arrest (2) dealers and in the eastern district of Hamzah, and warrants were issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Article (28) of drugs of the Penal Code."
 
  "The detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate, in cooperation with a joint security force, arrested, during a controlled ambush, one of the suspects who practices electronic extortion operations in the Camp Sarah area in Baghdad, where he was luring girls through social media, photographing them and blackmailing them for sums of money, and an arrest warrant was issued against him in accordance with the provisions of Article (430), extortion," noting that "necessary measures have been taken against him and he has been referred to the judiciary."
