Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdel-Ghani discussed on Thursday, with Lorenta Pfeiffer, Total's regional director in the Middle East and North Africa, moving forward with the agreed-upon associated gas projects.
A statement issued by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: "The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil discussed with the director of the French company Total in the Middle East and North Africa, Lorenta Pfeiffer, in the presence of the director of the company's branch in Iraq, Donia Chalabi, prospects for bilateral cooperation."
The statement added, "The meeting dealt with following up on the joint efforts of the Ministry and Total in order to proceed with the implementation of the development and investment plans agreement for associated and free gas projects, clean energy, and the advancement of infrastructure."
