    INA - BAGHDAD

The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced its intention to raise allocations for the development of regions in the budget to 4 trillion.

"The parliament session will remain open to complete the second reading of the budget, with observations and objections from members of parliament and various proposals that will last for several days," said Committee member Moein Al-Kadhimi to the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He expected that "the date for the final vote on the budget will be in the fifth month after reviewing the opinions of experts and hosting ministers and officials concerned with spending to work on reducing the budget and reducing the fiscal deficit of 64 trillion dinars."

"There is a tendency to reduce consumer matters on the operational side and raise the amount of development of the regions from 2.5 trillion to 4 trillion," he included, noting that "there are other observations included in the report of the Finance Committee."
