The Iraqi National Intelligence Service INIS managed on Friday to arrest one of the high-importance targets of ISIS terrorist elements in Salah al-Din.
A statement of INIS received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the detachments of the National Intelligence Service, in coordination with the units holding the land in Salah al-Din Governorate, were able to arrest one of the high-importance targets of the terrorist ISIS elements and who is responsible for transporting terrorists and security mail from Samarra to the so-called North Baghdad Province, and the former administrator of the Daesh’s That Al-Sawary Division.
The statement indicated that "the operation took place in Salah al-Din governorate through an elaborate ambush that was carried out based on intelligence information and careful follow-up of the target's movements, which was moving between the governorates of Baghdad, Salah al-Din and Erbil."
