The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faek, confirmed that 1,500 displaced families live in the slums of Bzebiz.
"1,500 displaced families live in slums in Bzebiz," Faeq said in a TV show on Al-Iraqiya News, followed by the Iraqi News Agency - INA, stressing, "We are a supporter of shelter and relief for the IDPs in the camps of the region."
She added, "The majority of the IDPs in the camps of the region are Yazidis from Sinjar. The Ministry of Immigration has no authority over the camps of the Kurdistan region."
"IDPs return from the camps of the region requires political will. The Kurdistan region refuses to enter the service and engineering efforts in Sinjar until the implementation of the Sinjar Agreement," she included.
