PM and the Parliament discuss services within the government program

    INA - BAGHDAD 

    Prime Minister Muhammed S. Al-Sudani discussed with the Parliamentary Services Committee efforts to implement services within the government program.

    Al-Sudani, received the chairman and members of the Services Committee in the Parliament, according to the media office of the Prime Minister in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

    During the meeting, a review was made regarding the overall service effort in addition to the lagging and new projects undertaken by the executive bodies, or reactivating them including the progress of completion rates.

    PM Al-Sudani pointed out, "the importance of involving the legislative authority in its oversight duty to enhance the momentum of work, and for the Parliamentary Services Committee to be informed of plans and projects first-hand, in an unprecedented application of integration between the executive and legislative responsibility towards improving the level of services."

    The Prime Minister reaffirmed "the inclusion of service files among the government's priorities, and that it has made an important step in completing tangible achievements that touch the lives of citizens in a short time," stressing that "approving the budget bill will make a positive difference, which will be reflected on the citizens and their aspirations."
