MOT: The number of airline aircraft is 38 of various models

The Ministry of Transport revealed the number of the national carrier's aircraft entering service and under contract.

The media office of the Ministry of Transport stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the number of airliners, amounting to 38 aircraft of various long, medium and short-range models.".

He added, "The number of modern aircraft agreed upon with Airbus, amounting to 5 A220 aircraft, has been received, four of which have been received, and it is hoped that the last plane will be received soon, while the number of aircraft agreed upon with Boeing reached (26) aircraft divided between (16) of the B737 model." -8 MAX has received (4) aircraft of them, while the other model is B787 known as the Dreamliner and the number is (10) aircraft. (31) aircraft.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Transport, headed by the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, is following with interest the development and modernization of operational plans to accommodate the new numbers of aircraft, including the technical and commercial staff of Iraqi Airways, the development of skills, electronic marketing systems, and the opening of new stations to communicate with the world.
