Baghdad-INA
The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed, this evening, Friday, that flights at Baghdad International Airport are still continuing with an acceptable visibility so far, despite the dust storm.
A spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority, Jihad Al-Diwan, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "flights are continuing at the airport, with an acceptable range of visibility so far.".
He added, "The suspension of flights at airports requires that the pilot's vision range be approximately 500 meters or less, and currently it is more than that, and the skies are open, and in the event that the effects of the storm increase, the flights will be stopped."
