Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi welcomed on Sunday, the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz to visit Riyadh.
Deputy Chief of Staff for Political Affairs to I.R. Iran President ., Muhammad Jamshidi, said in a tweet on Twitter, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz welcomed, in a letter to the Iranian president, the agreement of the two brotherly countries, and invited him to make an official visit to Riyadh, He called for strengthening economic and regional cooperation."
Jamshidi added, "The Iranian President welcomed this invitation, and affirmed Iran's readiness to enhance cooperation."
In a meeting held in Beijing this month, he announced that Saudi Arabia and Iran agreed not to use military force and not support groups against each other, with the resumption of diplomatic relations between the two countries that were severed 7 years ago and the reopening of the embassies of the two countries within two months.
