DMI arrests 25 suspects in seven governorates

The Directorate of Military Intelligence-DMI announced on Saturday, the arrest of (25) suspects, some of them are convicted on terrorism charges, in seven governorates.
 
DMI said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Based on accurate intelligence information of the departments and divisions (intelligence and security) of Diyala, Maysan and Salah al-Din Operations Command as well as the information provided by the 1^st , 7^th , 8^th , 10^th , 14^th , 15^th , 16^th  and 17^th  brigades, and in cooperation with intelligence and a force from those brigades, tight ambushes were set up in the provinces (Baghdad, Anbar, Kirkuk, Diyala, Maysan, Nineveh and Salah al-Din) which resulted in the arrest of two terrorists wanted by the Judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 Anti- terrorism Law in the districts of Al-Sharqat and Al-Majar Al-Kabeer and (23) accused of various legal cases in separate areas of the same provinces .”

The statement added," The arrestees were handed over to the concerned authorities."
