Ministry of Migration and Displaced-MOMD, announced on Tuesday, the return of (95) IDPs to the villages of Al-Akidat and Faris Al-Ta'an.
"(95) IDPs returned voluntarily from separate areas in Diyala to their original areas of residence in the villages of Al-Akidat and Faris Al-Ta'an in Al-Muqdadiya district," said MOMD minister Ivan Faeq Jabru in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Jabru added that "This step came after taking all logistical and security measures to facilitate their return in cooperation with the security forces and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) by providing the appropriate infrastructure of water and electricity, restoring their homes and a financial grant."
