A security operation launched in Qayyarah: PMF

The Popular Mobilization Forces PMF announced Thursday the launch of a raid and search operation in the villages of Qayyarah in Mosul.

A statement by PMF, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "a joint force of the security forces and the 58th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out today a raid and search operation in the villages surrounding the Qayyarah district, south of Mosul."

The statement added, "The operation aims to search for those wanted by the judiciary and terrorist elements of Daesh through security checks, as well as to enhance security and stability in Qayyarah district and the surrounding villages."
