Cabinet: A shipment of humanitarian aid to be sent to the Iraqi community in Gaziantep

    The General Secretariat of the Cabinet announced Wednesday that two new planes loaded with humanitarian aid will arrive today in Turkey to deliver them to the victims of the devastating earthquake, including a shipment intended for the Iraqi community, while noting that the number of Iraqi planes that transported humanitarian aid to Syria and Turkey reached 22 planes.

    The spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Cabinet , Haider Majeed, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "as part of the series of air bridges that Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani directed, two planes will depart today to Gaziantep to deliver relief materials to the earthquake victims in Turkey."

     He added, "Within this shipments , there will be one designated for the Iraqi community in Gaziantep, which includes relief materials, food, and household supplies."

    Majeed explained, "The number of planes heading to Syria since the prime minister's directive has reached 14, while the number of planes to Turkey has reached 8."
