WhatsApp converting the voice message into written text

The WhatsApp application launched the feature of reading the content of voice messages in the form of plain text for those who do not want voice messages.

WABetaInfo revealed that "the latest beta version of WhatsApp for iPhone includes a feature that allows users to convert the voice message into written text.".

He added, "This feature will only process texts on the device and will not be uploaded to WhatsApp servers, which is a feature that preserves privacy.".

According to experts, "This feature will face some obstacles, as the feature will not be able to provide written text when it is unable to process the spoken audio message in a language that is not registered in its database.".

It has not yet determined the application of this feature on Android phones and its circulation.

It is worth noting that the Telegram application, which is one of the most prominent competitors of WhatsApp, provides a service for converting videos and voice messages into written texts, and this service is provided to subscribers to the “Premium” service. On the other hand, the feature will be available to all WhatsApp users without exception.
