For his part, Saudi Minister of Hajj Tawfiq Al-Rabiah affirmed, "The Kingdom's keenness to facilitate procedures for Iraqi pilgrims and Umrah performers," pointing to "providing the electronic "Nesk" platform to facilitate the entry of Iraqi Umrah performers into the Kingdom.".

He added, "125,000 Iraqi pilgrims have been received since the opening of the new port of Arar," noting that "initiatives have been provided to reduce the costs of Hajj and Umrah for Iraqis."
