The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Al-Badrani, announced on Thursday, the signing of three memorandums to revitalize the tourism sector and prevent smuggling of antiquities.
Al-Badrani told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Three memorandums were signed with the Jordanian side related to tourism, culture and antiquities," noting that "what is related to antiquities is the recovery of looted antiquities that are seized at the border crossings."
He added, "It was also agreed to cooperate in the field of tourism, exchange experiences, tourist groups, and others."
