President of the Supreme Judicial Council judge, Faiq Zidan, and Syriac Catholic patriarch discussed on Tuesday, the role of the judiciary to protect Christian’s real estate property.
“President of SJC Judge Faiq Zidan, received His Beatitude Moran Mor Ignatius Joseph III Younan, The Patriarch of the Syriacs of Antioch in Iraq and the world, accompanied by Minister of Immigration and Displacement Evan Faiq and his accompanying delegation”, SJC said in a statement , received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added, “During the meeting, Judge Zidan discussed with them the role of the judiciary in protecting the rights and property of Iraqi Christians in accordance with the provisions of the constitution and the law."
