PM and parliament speaker stresses the importance of cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani and parliament speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi stressed the importance of cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities.

The media office of the Speaker of Parliament stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi received Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, and during the meeting they discussed the general situation in the country."

They stressed the importance of cooperation between the executive and legislative branches.

As well as they discussed: "A number of political, economic, service and legislative files that have an impact on the lives of citizens and meet their needs."
