Sayyid Al-Hakim: We stand in solidarity with those affected by the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria

The head of National Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, announced on Monday, his solidarity with those affected by the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

Al-Hakim said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "We announce our solidarity with those affected by the devastating earthquake that affected a number of countries in the region, especially Turkey and Syria, which left large numbers of victims."

The statement added, "My deepest condolences to the governments and peoples of the two countries," calling on "the Iraqi government to extend a helping hand to the two neighboring peoples, and the international community and its humanitarian organizations to provide relief to those affected."
