President Rashid affirms the unification of the national ranks and the support of the government in implementing its ministerial program

The President of the Republic, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, affirmed on Sunday,  the unification of the national ranks and the support of the government in implementing its ministerial program.

A statement by the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "The President of the Republic, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, received today, at the Baghdad Palace, a member of Parliament, Sheikh Wasfi Al-Asi, the Emir of the Al-Abeed tribe."

Rashid stressed, according to the statement, "the necessity of unifying the national ranks, solidarity, and concerted efforts in order to consolidate security and stability in the country and protect peaceful and social coexistence among all components in a way that preserves the rights of citizens and meets their needs and requirements."

He pointed to "the importance of supporting the government in implementing its ambitious ministerial program, which aims to improve the living and service conditions of citizens, and to initiate construction and reconstruction, especially basic infrastructure projects."

For his part, Sheikh Wasfi Al-Assi presented President Abdullatif Rashid with congratulations on his election as President of the Republic."

Al-Assi stressed "the importance of solidarity in facing challenges and protecting social peace."
