Raid and search operation launched east of Salah al-Din: PMF

    Popular Mobilization Forces announced Sunday the launch of a raid and search operation east of Salah al-Din.

     A statement by the Popular Mobilization Forces, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "a force from the Ninth Brigade in the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Federal Police, began a raid and search operation east of Salah al-Din."

    It added, "The operation aims to maintain security in the eastern regions of the province by pursuing Daesh remnants and eliminating their dens."
