The Council of National Security Deputies announced today, Tuesday, the approval of the conclusion of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministries of Interior in the Republic of Iraq and Egypt.
The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement that "The Council of National Security Agents held the first session for the year 2023, headed by the National Security Adviser, Qasim Al-Araji."
The statement added, "The council discussed the topics on its agenda, and took the necessary recommendations and decisions in this regard."
"The topic (national procedures for transporting hazardous materials in Iraq) was presented and discussed, and the council decided to agree the approval of these contexts and circulate it to act accordingly, provided that the National Center for Joint Planning in the National Security Adviser undertakes the task of evaluation and follow-up, in order to overcome difficulties and obstacles that may arise during its implementation.” According to the statement.
The statement continued, "The council decided to approve the conclusion of (a memorandum of understanding between the ministries of interior in the Republic of Iraq and the Arab Republic of Egypt), after amending it according to the observations raised in the session."
