The Ministry of Education announced that Iraqi schools will participate in the Gulf 25 opening activities tomorrow.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Many schools in Basra Governorate will participate, tomorrow (Friday, January 6), in the opening of the National Carnival for the Gulf Championship 25," indicating, "These schools will organize recreational activities for students and teachers." Those who responded greatly to this exceptional event, and as an important event confirming the ability of our beloved country to embrace such international championships.
The school administrators expressed, according to the statement their pride in hosting their dear country, Iraq, for the Gulf Championship 25, stressing their work and solidarity with each other to highlight the bright side of Iraq and make this tournament successful.
For his part, Minister of Education Ibrahim Names al-Jubouri expressed his wishes for the success of the tournament, stressing that "this step comes within the framework of the Ministry and its cadres' support for the national efforts aimed at making this major international sporting event successful."
