The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis, affirmed Thursday the endeavor to place the citizen service program among the ministry's priorities, while stressing the importance of fairness to the Feylis segment.
A statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis, received the President of the General National Congress of the Feyli Kurds, Tariq al-Mandlawi, and his accompanying delegation, where they extended congratulations and blessings to the minister and praised the prime minister's good selection of a competent and honest person to receive the ministerial transport portfolio in order to serve the Iraqi people and advance the ministry, wishing the minister success and luck.
For his part, the Minister of Transport thanked the Congress chairman and his accompanying delegation, stressing that "the current government is a government of services and the ministry will seek to put a citizen service program as a priority," recalling "the historical march of jihad and sacrifices of the Feyli component, in which it offered its finest sons on the altar of freedom for the sake of Iraq and the Iraqis against criminal dictatorial regime.
He added, "The record of the Feyli Kurds is full of jihad and sacrifice, even after the fall of the regime, by confronting the takfiri terrorism that swept the country."
