Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, received today a delegation of the Iraqi Teachers Syndicate led by the Head of the Iraqi Teachers Syndicate, Abbas Kadhim Al-Sudani.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA),"During the meeting, he listened to a briefing on the work of the Syndicate, its role in supporting the educational process, the problems it encounters, and its efforts to improve the teachers' performance and their work and living conditions."
Al-Sudani commended the great role played by trade unions and professional organizations, including the Iraqi Teachers Syndicate, and its professional experiences in various specializations, which would help improve job performance.
The statement added," the importance of coordination between the unions and the government to support the government in implementing its program and achieving its vision of providing public services, including the educational sector, which receives great attention from the government."
The government endeavors to address the various problems the educational sector faces, including the issue of shortages of school buildings in the capital, Baghdad, and the rest of the governorates.
The government also attaches great importance to caring for the teachers.
