Al-Araji Meets the Ambassador of Egypt to Iraq

National Security Adviser Qassim Al-Araji affirmed on Sunday ,the government's continuation of its approach of balance and openness to the regional and international environment.

The media office of the National Security Adviser stated in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the National Security Adviser, Qassim Al-Araji, received today in his office, the Egyptian Ambassador to Baghdad, Walid Muhammad Ismail."

During the meeting, the political and security situation was reviewed, At the regional and international levels, as well as discussing strengthening cooperation relations with brotherly Arab countries.

Al-Araji assured the Egyptian ambassador that "the Iraqi government continues its approach of balance and openness to its Arab brothers and the regional and international environment."

Al-Araji also emphasized that "the relationship between Iraq and Egypt is a historical relationship and in continuous development."
